Straight answers about Bloom Space — what it costs, where it runs, how it treats your attention and your data. If something is missing, support is one email away.

The basics

What is Bloom Space?
Bloom Space is a calmer social media app built around six connected spaces: personas (several profiles in one account), sanctuaries (private, invite-only communities), moments (posts that fade), clips (short vertical video), live voice rooms and human-paced messages. It is designed without targeted ads, infinite-scroll traps or public follower counts.
Is Bloom Space free?
Yes. Bloom Space is free to download and use. Optional purchases exist through Petals, the in-app currency, for cosmetics such as profile layouts and extra persona slots, and for tipping creators or joining paid sanctuary memberships.
Which platforms is Bloom Space available on?
Bloom Space is live on Android via Google Play. An iOS version is in development — join the waitlist on the download page to be told the moment it lands on the App Store.
Is there a Bloom Space APK I can download?
Please install Bloom Space only from Google Play. APK files hosted elsewhere are not published by us, may be modified, and will not receive updates.
How old do I have to be to use Bloom Space?
You must be at least 13 worldwide, and at least 18 in India. Accounts for ages 13–17 get extra protections: no messages from strangers, no in-app purchases, stricter content filters and reduced notifications.
Which languages does the app support?
The app is available in English, Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Hebrew and Thai. The website and policies are in English.

Feeds, ads and attention

Does Bloom Space have an algorithm?
There are two feeds: Personal, built from the people and communities you follow, and Explore for discovery. Neither is engineered to keep you scrolling — Bloom Space's policy rules out infinite-scroll traps, fake notifications and public follower counts, and you can hide whole content categories with content controls.
Are there ads on Bloom Space?
No targeted advertising, ever. Bloom Space does not run third-party ads and never uses your messages or activity to train advertising models.
Does Bloom Space sell my data?
No. Bloom Space does not sell personal data, does not share identifiers with data brokers or ad networks, and never collects your location in the background.
How is Bloom Space different from mainstream social media?
It separates the sides of your life with personas instead of one flattened profile, gives communities a private home instead of a public stage, and removes the attention machinery — targeted ads, infinite scroll, follower leaderboards — that makes other apps exhausting.

Features

What are personas?
Personas are separate profiles inside one account — up to four — each with its own name, handle, look, followers and feed. Bloom Space never publicly links your personas to each other.
What is a sanctuary?
A sanctuary is a private, invite-only community space with channels, threads, events and live voice rooms, plus its own community rules and moderators. You can join up to thirty per persona.
What are moments?
Moments are photos or short videos that are shown for a limited time and then fade. People reply privately, so they often turn into conversations instead of public comment threads.
What are clips?
Clips are short vertical videos. Public clips carry up to two categories so viewers can hide the kinds of content they don't want, and there are no public follower counts to chase.
How do voice rooms work?
Voice rooms are live, audio-only spaces inside a sanctuary. Members drop in from the sanctuary home; hosts can mute or remove people, and rooms are recorded only if the host explicitly turns recording on — everyone is told when that happens.
What can I send in messages?
Text, photos, videos, files and voice notes. You can reply to specific messages, react, personalise a chat's wallpaper and bubble style, and seal a conversation with a PIN shared by both people.

Safety and privacy

Are Bloom Space messages end-to-end encrypted?
No. Messages and voice rooms are encrypted in transit and stored under strict access controls so that reports of harm can be acted on. Bloom Space does not proactively read your DMs and never uses them for advertising or recommendations.
How is Bloom Space moderated?
Every sanctuary has community rules and moderators, anything can be reported in a couple of taps, and real, trained reviewers handle escalations. Automated systems never issue permanent bans on their own.
What does Bloom Space do about child safety?
Zero tolerance: any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers or exploits a minor is removed on sight and confirmed material is reported to NCMEC. Teen accounts get extra protections by default. See the child safety page for details.
Does Bloom Space tell people when I screenshot a chat?
Yes. In private conversations a visible notice is posted into the chat when a screenshot is taken.
How do I delete my Bloom Space account?
In the app go to Settings → Account → Delete, or email us from the address on your account. Deletion has a 30-day grace period during which you can change your mind; after that your data is removed as described in the delete-account guide.
Who makes Bloom Space?
Bloom Space is built by Untechlabs LLP, a small team based in New Delhi, India, founded in 2026.

Creators and Petals

What are Petals?
Petals are Bloom Space's virtual currency, bought in fixed packs through Google Play or the App Store. They pay for digital cosmetics such as profile layouts and extra persona slots, tips to creators and paid sanctuary memberships. Petals cannot buy physical goods.
How do creators earn on Bloom Space?
Through tips and paid sanctuary memberships, both powered by Petals, with creator payouts built into the platform. Founding creators can claim an early spot on the creators page.
