Clips: short vertical video for people, not metrics

Short, vertical, full-screen — the format you know, minus the pressure. Clips on Bloom Space reach the people who follow you and the categories viewers have chosen to see.

Watching a full-screen clip in Bloom Space

Short video is genuinely fun to make and watch. What wears people down is everything wrapped around it: the leaderboard of view counts, the feed engineered to keep you swiping, the feeling that a clip only matters if it goes viral. Bloom Space keeps the format and drops the machinery.

Clips are vertical videos with captions, music and effects. You can like, comment, repost or quote a clip, and every public clip carries up to two categories so viewers stay in control of what they see. Clips also appear inline in the home feed and full-screen in the Clips viewer, and they can be shared privately or inside a sanctuary.

Content controls, not just a filter

Every viewer can hide whole clip categories from their experience. If you never want to see prank videos or a particular kind of content, switch the category off and it is gone from your feed and from Explore. Creators tag their public clips with up to two categories so those controls actually work.

Reach without the race

Bloom Space has no public follower counts and no infinite-scroll traps, so a clip is not a scoreboard. Your clips go to the people who follow the persona you posted from, and to viewers browsing Explore who have not hidden the category. Reposts and quotes let people share your work with context, which is how good clips travel here.

Post as the right you

Because clips go out from a persona, your cooking videos and your commentary can live on different profiles without separate accounts. Post a clip into a sanctuary and only that community sees it.

Clips: questions, answered

Does Bloom Space show view or follower counts on clips?
Bloom Space does not show public follower counts and does not build feeds around infinite-scroll traps. Clips are about the people watching, not a public scoreboard.
Can I control which kinds of clips I see?
Yes. You can hide entire clip categories, and creators must tag public clips with up to two categories so those controls work.
Can I repost or quote someone's clip?
Yes. Reposts share a clip to your followers as-is; quotes let you add your own take.
